Madhvee Deb is an Indian artist, who after having lived in Africa, Australia and Europe, now calls Singapore home. Her artworks are products of an interdisciplinary collaboration of various mediums, such as photography, video, audio, and mix media. Her art-making process is in particular informed by the notion of capturing emotions, remembrance, identity, human perception, and comprehension of reality.

Recently Madhvee has been awarded a grant by the George Town Festival – 2018 for her upcoming solo exhibition. She was one of the nominees for the “Prudential Young Artist Award 2014”. Madhvee has exhibited in various group exhibitions viz. Art Stage Singapore, Singapour En France, Landings, etc. She has also participated in the Round Table at Alliance Française de Singapour, Milan Image Art & Design Fair – Singapore. Madhvee has won several photography competitions and she is involved in various fundraising initiatives.

Having sold a successful E-commerce business operating in the USA, UK and EU, now Madhvee fully dedicates her time to art making. Madhvee completed her Master of Fine Arts from Goldsmiths, University of London via Lasalle College of the Arts, Singapore. Madhvee holds a Bachelor of art in languages from St. Xavier’s College, India.
